I'm trying to find out the specs for a [2001] XJR bottom radiator hose spring clamp, I assume it's part 8 in this diagram (also pictured below). While I could purchase this clamp from JRL UK, it would probably be quicker/cheaper to purchase one locally (Sydney, Australia) - if I know what to look for. Any tips greatly appreciated!
Hi Troy, I have a spare hose from the right side, so I measured that and it's 50mm on the OD. The clamps have a '51' marking on them, but when they're clamped on the uninstalled hose, they leave a big impression. Since the hoses are the same diameter, my guess is a 50mm clamp. A good T-clamp would also work.

They are known as a Spring Hose Clamp or Constant Tension Clamp.
Widely used on plastic cooling systems because they don't 'point load' like a Jubilee / Worm Drive Clamp.
That's interesting, I checked [very roughly] the diameter of my bottom hose pipe and it's more like 40mm OD.
My car has the standard mini-octopus hose (as shown in the original post) which also appears to be ~42mm OD.
I wonder if the XJR 100 is different?
Both, the Parts Catalogue and the online catalogue (Barratt, for example), show the clamps sizes. Extract from the Parts Catalogue is also attached as pdf.
It's still confusing, or I'm just confused, the clamp I'm enquiring about is 8 but it doesn't have a size next to it - I would like to assume it's 53mm, however, the equivalent hose for the non-SC part has two different sizes, 53mm and 49mm.
I might just have to pull out my radiator hose and manually check the bottom inlet pipe and hose?
They're just hose clamps... You don't have to buy the Jag OEM part for these, just measure your hose and buy any off the shelf ones that are the right size.
Mcmaster has them: https://www.mcmaster.com/products/ho...hose-and-tube/
I'm sure there's other parts stores or online retailers by you that can get them to you quicker than the Jaguar part.
