Default XJR Screen wash pump connector

Hello everyone.

I have a small problem with my Jag and need a small, irritating part that is proving difficult to come by. My screenwash isn't working and I've finally diagnosed it to be the electrical connector/plug that goes into the top of the washer pump. It's corroded inside and is dead.

I've contacted about 30 people on ebay who are breaking an X308 bit to no avail. Most never reply, some say it isn't worth their while to post one plug.

So, my plea is to any UK members who are breaking/have broken/know someone who is breaking a X308 and see if I can find one of these plugs. Winter is definitely here in Scotland, and being able to see is definitely going to be an issue soon.

Sorry for the essay. And thanks in advance for any help or advice. Luke

Without seeing the connector is it a EV1 in the pic below ? If so they are easy to find online for purchase .

Sadly not. It's one of these.

it's called an Augat 1.6 3-way connector in the electrical manual. Unfortunately that doesn't come up with much on google, but it's a start, and you know the pin dia is 1.6mm, with 3 pins, so that should narrow down search by a lot. I searched a bit with no luck, I'd try looking for sites dedicated to automotive connectors, maybe cross manufacturer in case ford or someone else uses the same connector, and try to find it that way.

Thanks nilanium.
I've had a look at a few UK based auto electrical connector places, but haven't found one yet. Knowing the name now is definitely a step in the right direction though - if I can't find a breaker to take one from.
