Guys, please forgive a noob for asking what may have already have been answered. I have a 1998 XJR and want to do a trans fluid flush and refill. I take it I need a fluid change, with new pan gasket, bolt and copper washer, filter, and solenoids too? Im at 74k miles. Can someone please tell me what youd recommend I change at this point, and please point me towards the best fluid and other parts and prices?

I was shocked at how much cheaper the parts were from Mercedes, they are half the price I would pay as a dealer employee.
I have a 98 XJR with 74k on the odo. Can you please point me in the right direction for all these parts so I can properly flush and maintain my 5AT?

If you aren't having any problems, then just buy the filter and gasket, 11qts of 236.10, 236.12, or 236.14 spec AT fluid to your liking, and go get it flushed at a mechanics shop. I'm guessing $60-$100 if you bring the parts.

Hell, I'm probably going to Midas,... I'll watch them closely though. Hehehe.
