Default 1990 xj6 VCM

Hello all. Look for a little help have some fuse issues. When I hit the vcm button on dash it tells me (fuse 1 and 2 pao fail) any help with this would be helpful.

"pao" is actually "pad" and means your brake pad low sensor has been exposed - usually signifying your brake pad(s) are worn.

There are 3 fuse boxes, one in each foot well and one in the centre armrest. Fuse messages usually signify a fuse has blown, time to check the fuse boxes.

The numbers (I think!) denote the fuse boxes with the issue (1 2 or 3)

"Fail" message alone means there's something up with the fuelling I think ..this is from memory, maybe someone else will chime in and correct me if I'm off on this!

Hey Larry just wanted to say Thanks for the info. Very helpful. That explains why my brake light is on. Still working on the fuse issue. Thanks

Fuse 1 is the driver's 'A' pillar box (RHD)
Fuse 2 is the passenger 'A' pillar box (RHD)
Fuse 3 is in the console cubby
