Default 90 Sovereign into the family.

I bought one today. 143k. White, with the original spoke wheels. Fault Code 46 is showing, and very minor cosmetic stuff on the exterior. I will pull parts from my 209k 90 VDP, then sell it. The ignition is hanging out, as someone took it apart. But I can tell from listening to it run, its a strong one that needs some tlc. I see no leaks underneath which is great, and no oil deposits within the engine compartment. Some bulbs need replacing and some fuses according to the lightning bolt in orange on the instrument cluster. Shift linkage is tight which means I won't be going into limp mode while hitting a bump. All in all I'm happy with it. Even though its a tiny step down from my Satin Beige 90 VDP it has 60k less on it. Pictures to follow.

Good Lord, man. You no longer have a garage-full. You have a family! Or, is it a flock? Either way, I like it. Only 208,703 more to go. I'd keep 'em all as long as you already having 'em.

Cheers!
Scott

Default 90 White Sovereign

Ok, plugs, wires, cap and rotor done today. The previous owner doesn't understand that "high Octane," means High Octane, 93 and above. This car ran like crap, intermittent misses, and took about 7 seconds to start. I put 13 gallons of 93 and 1 pint of seafoam, amazing results. 3-4 secs cranking before starting now, and as smooth as silk at a stop or in park.

The picture taken of the front outside was taken the day I bought it, notice the fog lights bent back, and of course not working. The front end picture in the garage has them corrected and working. Dash is clean from all yellow annoying attention lights. Interior and side view also attached.

I believe you need to have your fuel pressure checked in since it takes a few attempts to get it to start .
Nice ride really

Default Pandoras Box

Yes, you were correct, fuel pressure led to the fuel pump. So prior to that I changed the fuel regulator and a new fuel filter. THEN I put in a new fuel pump. Bingo. Explosive start within 3 tenths of a sec, each and every time.

So it goes since I got it. New pads and rotors and hardware for the front. 2 new entire wheel hubs to replace the bad ones in the rear and front. And check out what was beneath the little bubble!
