Hi there 91, on my 92 I have exactly the same fun. It seems to be a random issue based on the position of Mars in relation to Jupiter.
Try, Radio off -Side lights on -Radio on, for a while -Radio off. This very occasionally seems to work, but I don't really know if this has any bearing on the issue, or if it is just the random god Lucas.
You can be driving along with the clock happily glowing and the next time you look it will have gone out.
Also playing around with the dimmer to full bright has no effect on the clock.
That was helpful, wasn't it!
LOL
