Default Castrol HSMO for power steering
I have changed the power steering fluid with Castrol HSMO. I called the dealer service department and surprisingly the guys told me that was not necessary and just use any good DOT4 was fine.

so did I do something stupid to give me Jag a good treat?

The HSMO is only for the XJ40 from 1988MY to 1993MY with the self leveling rear suspension.

You need to post in the XJ40 forum.
