Factory R134A A/C service ports
Just a quick FYI ..
A friend in Holland has successfully sourced replacement a/c service ports for the factory R134A systems.
Jaguar only supplies complete hose assemblies and the OEM Aeroquip style service ports are practically unavailable.
Fortunately, Santech produces conventional ports with normal Schraeder valves that are a direct replacement and are supplied with new o-rings.
details:
Manufacturer: Santech
Part number, high side: 59972
Dimensions, high side port: 15mm X M15 X 1.0
Part number, low side: 59973 (MT0177-1)
Dimensions, low side port: 13mm X M13 X 1.0
Autozone should carry them.
Cheers
Larry

Update
Fitted these new ports today when I re-gassed the system (they came from Autozone, about $7 each).
The ones I replaced weren't the originals but used ones I got from another '94. These were slower leakers than my originals, but they still leaked.
When I took the caps off today I could see the odd bubble coming from the valve.
Hopefully these new ports should prolong periods between refilling - even with the old leaky valves I was getting about 8 months out of a charge, maybe this time it'll last more than one season. Fingers crossed!
Cheers
