How to test fuel pressure at the rail?
I would like to be able to easily hook up a fuel pressure test gauge at the inlet to the fuel rail. Ideally I would like some way to temporarily attach a T between the high pressure hose going to the fuel rail and the rail itself however the screw on-connector there is one I have never seen anywhere else. Has anyone ever been able to find the type of ball connector used to attach the inlet and outlet connections to the XJ40 fuel rail?
Shown below is the connector I am talking about

Finally built my own fuel system pressure tester
I finally managed to make my own version of the fuel system pressure test rig for the XJ40 cars.
See the photo below.
pressure gauge, a piece of fuel injection hose and various fittings
I ended up having to buy a M14 x 1.5 die from an ebay seller
