Default i have a few questions

the dash says i have a power fluid low and anti lock failure, the fluids are all topped off , the anti lock isnt a big deal. do these sensors go bad often?

also the car runs smooth but from a stop it doesn't seem it have a lot of get up and go, is it just these cars or do you think something is wrong? the last 3 cars ive owned were v8s, maybe im just use to them.

1988 xj6, I6, 136,000 miles.

Power Fluid low means you're low on LHM fluid.

Anti-Lock failure on early XJ40s is often caused by bad solder joints on the circuit board of the overvoltage relay located behind the carpeting on the left side of the trunk, near the fuel filler neck.

You may want to try cleaning out the ABS sensors first. They tend to throw out the anti-lock failure message when brake dust is built up on them. As I recall you need an 8mm socket, but other XJ40 owners or Jaguar technicians can correct me if this the wrong size.

is there any way to turn off these sensors ? im sick of seeing the flashing lights on the dash.

also my a/c heater control panel doesn't work, the lights come on but nothing works. is there a way to test to make sure that it is the control panel?
