bought a 70,000 mile engine complete with wiring accessories fuel sys, manifolds etc through a/c comp. what is correct procedure, don't have a car lift, but have jack stands, air tools, and a good engine lift. the more details you give the fewer mistakes I will make. My basic questions are, with the radiator out, fan off, exhaust loose intake loose, do I pull the engine only or eng and trans, will it come out and go in dressed?

The correct procedure would probably total 100 individual steps or more.
Maybe if you narrow down your question a bit someone can offer some help. Otherwise, use whatever procedure is in the shop manual

You will have to elivate the vehicle so that you can get under it (make sure its well supported).Leave the transmition in the vehicle(you will have to support the trany, just get a long 2 X 4 and using the holes in the front jack mounts bolt the 2 x 4 across the tranny and it will hold it in position) Then take the inspection cover off the bell housing manually rotate the flywheel(flex plate) and remove the bolts from the torque converter. Remove hood radiator(be extra careful wit the transmition lines)and then use your lift (good idea to have a balancer attachment) then its just like pulling any motor. Ita a good idea if you get a haynes or clifford manual.good luck Lumppy
