I reattached my bumper this weekend. Two bolts from below will allow the bumper to come off. Pull it forward to see the wiring connectors. You don't have to pull bulbs. There are 4 wiring connectors on my '90. One on each corner connects the side marker and turn signal. I have two more connectors closer to the center, not connected to anything, but clipped to the bumper. I'm guessing for fog lights, which I don't have. Unclip these from the bumper and it should come right off.
The bumper struts should have 2 bolts in front, and two from below in back. My passenger side has a tow hook attached using the same bolts.
And grill does not have to come off.
Good luck!
Dave

well guys, I attempted it today. Didnt go well at all. It moved up maybe 1 or 2 mm at the most. I think thats as good as it gets.
New question I suppose is does this lower the value? Should I pay to get it fixed? What would some of you guys do if you were in my shoes? Keep in mind I'm an 18 year old about ready to go to Ohio State. I have graduation money but most of that will have to be spent towards books, supplies etc...
God this sucks. I wish some retards just couldnt drive. Makes me so g'damn mad.....

that is EXACTLY what I want my car to look like. daddylogan, go to pg.2 and you'll see pics of my car. same colour as yours may I add. I have the rubber spacer, i have the plastic underneath, It just doesnt fit right. It has to be the bumper, it has to.
Well i've been screwed over twice now on this, once by a retard in a crappy mercury couger piece of trash, and once by a hack-mechanic who gave me the car with the grille pointing in (which I had to fix by myself) and left the bumper hanging off the car like a ghetto lowrider. What a pathetic job for $2000 of insurance money...
I'll give this thing one last time, and if someone screws me over again that's it, car will be gone. I'm to the point i'd rather drive a camaro so even the average joe could fix it...
I'm calling JAGUAR of cincinnati in the morning. I'm gonna see if they can just adjust the bumper and look at the entire front end for maybe 300-400. If not, then maybe 1 last attempt.
This car seems to be the ultimate pleasure to drive, and the ultimate nightmare of a mechanic.

DK94, did you try any shims (aka, washers) to get the front bumper raised up a bit? Did it have any adjustment thingees like my rear did? Even if the brackets had been bent down due to your little run in, a shim or two could be all you need to visually close that gap.
I just don't know the details of your car to help any further. Any chance a good body shop could remove and reinstall for you?...easily under $300. The dealer typically doesn't do body work, which this may qualify. Doesn't hurt to ask.

i've scheduled an appointment to get the bumper fixed. taking it to one of, if not the best auto body shop to take a jaguar in the greater cincinnati area. jaguar of cincinnati recommended I go there. the guy I dealt with said $150 bucks if they manage to fix it, if they don't fix it, its all for free. I can't argue with that. seems like this is it, if there is one shop to fix it it would be these guys. these guys are old school, they take pride in the cars they work on and the work put in them. i like that

well put that 2-wheeler back in storage and assume the proper driving form...and practice these.. "cheers"... '"jolly good"... "splendid"...and don't forget to ask your friends and family (and random girls) if they would like to join you for tea, or something.
thanks for stickin with us during your rough time, and to think you actually considered selling her off. shame on you...have some faith.
