I am specifically looking for the wiring schematics for the 24 pin connector that goes into the cluster for a 1991 xj40 Base Model. I would like to know which color wires corresponds to which pin in the connector! Cheers.

I have found the schematics for my vehicle http://jagrepair.com/images/Electric...Electrical.pdf (page 31) but i still dont know which pin corresponds to which color on my 24 pin connector. I need to know because the wires were cut, and i had to purcahse a new connector from the same year, but some of the colors are different.

 

The FRONT MATTERS section will have the 'pinout' for the INSTPK.(and all the modules)

 

I looked at the XJ40 electrical guides and I did NOT see the module pinout info like the X300 and X308.

Looks like you will just have to 'painstakingly' check each wire and color and match to the connector?
