interchange part number for differential pinion seal?
I need to replace the differential pinion seal on my 1994 XJ6 and I have not been successful at finding any listing for this seal other than the factory numbers of either JLM527 or CBC6923
Does anyone know if there is a National or other seal manufacture that is a direct interchange for the factory seal?
I looked on rockauto and the diff pinion seal is not listed there.
I tried looking on ebay for these Jaguar seal part numbers and I was shocked to see what some sellers there want for this seal.
The prices for the CBC6923 ranged from $70 to $90 plus shipping for a SINGLE OEM seal! I refuse to submit to this highway robbery.
Any pointers to a equivalent aftermarket seal would be most welcome.

Welsh Enterprises has JLM527 listed for $12.95, and they show that CBC6923 supersedes to JLM527:
