Default Leaks

Leak finding tip.

No one likes to see a wounded cat. Finding leaks can be tedious and sometimes fruitless.

You can find them though, guaranteed. Fixing them? That's a whole other post.

First, you need to clean the entire area, lots of rags and lots of time.
Buy yourself the little leak detector glasses and light. I bought one 4 years ago, with a hard case for $9.95 online.
At your local parts store you can buy the dye, it's like $6 for a bottle.
A/C dye is different for a fluid leak dye. I buy the one that can be used for oil, transmission, anti-freeze and power steering.
After your area is completely clean, add the dye to what you think is leaking. A little goes a long way!! You only need to add a small amount.
Run your car for a bit, then go search the area with your glasses and light. You'll be amazed. I do it when it's dark, only because it's more fun. You can find them in the daylight as well.
This is another do it yourself tip that will save you 100's of dollars, hope it helps.
