Hi Jim,
Can you please provide more detail? Do the lights still illuminate on the radio? Will it still play a cassette tape? Does the radio produce hiss but won't tune into a radio station? Does the antenna extend? Were there any symptoms leading up to the point where it stopped working?
Cheers,
Don

hi don thanks for the reply the radio fault symptoms , is just like when you turn the ignition off , when it first started , it would go off then come on and now its off , on one day i stood with the door open and noticed the blue back light on , i punched the radio code in and away it worked fine even the cd worked , i switched the ignition off then tried it again this time it has not come back on could it be a relay, i tried one yellow, still the same ?

Hi Jim,
I agree with Larry - it does sound like a bad connection (although an internal radio head unit fault is possible).
The main power fuse for the radio is A5 in the left A-pillar fuse box. The ignition switched power for the radio comes from the Auxiliary Power Relay, which is in Relay Module H, behind the passenger-side knee bolster. If I'm not mistaken, Module H is the one with the yellow electrical connector. These modules are known for poor solder joints (dry/starved/cold), so it's worth opening them up and reflowing the solder on any suspect joints. See the links below for photos showing removal of the knee bolster and identification of the relay modules:

Another possibility is an intermittent connection for the radio ground, one end of which attaches to the back of the radio head unit chassis, and the other end attaches to a ground stud on the transmission tunnel just ahead of the J-gate.
Let us know if you need help checking any of these things out.
Cheers,
Don
