Rear wheel click...

Rear wheel click...
I have noticed a slight clicking sound from the rear wheel when driving a low speeds. It sounds like a brake pad, but more metalic and does not go away when the brakes are applied. I'm thinking it might be a bearing, or U joint. Any ideas before I take it in to the shop? Might save a little time and money if I can steer them in the right direction.

RE: Rear wheel click...
Turns out to be the rear wheel bearings were put in wrong forcing the stub shaft to rub on the rotor or something of the like. Weird thing is the car was in care of a Jaguar shop before I bought it and aledgedly driven daily by the owner. Some ****** used a lot of force and did a lot of damage installing the bearing backwards thus the root of all my rear end noise. Now that my corner muffler shop did it right, the car runs quietly as a Jaguar should. Oh yeah they also found the transmission mount had completely disintegrated some time ago making the steering and drive line geometry all off. the only thing holding the transmission on the car was the exhaust. Again the car was purchased from a Jaguar specialty shop who assured me everything was mechanically sound. Wonder how they missed these problems when it was so meticulously maintained by the owner of the shop. I think I've received sex in my nether regions...
