How the hell do I get back into the trunk? 93, 1st year of battery of in the trunk. Even the wiring harness is still confused in this Feb 93 car. Key left, key right, key center, nothing. Obviously battery charger on under hood terminals can't complete any circuit, the battery is gone! WTF!!!!!!!!!

There's a brazilian posts on here about this in loads of different models, try searching somethig like "open trunk no battery." Example: https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/x...onnected-8163/
Good luck

The ignition key turns the lock both ways but does not open the latch, wd40 notwithstanding. Those stupid modern smart battery chargers won't power up if they don't sense the battery load and my old school stupid charger was in the damn trunk. Sigh... But,
Jumper cables FTMFW! Cuz the Honda battery never dies. Hmmm, the Lucas Legacy torments me further.
With the trunk open I can now see the leaks actively dripping so on to the next post.

With exception of the MAF and the ECU you won't find much other Lucas stuff on a '93. Most of the electrics are Austrian.
Try jiggling the key in the lock; it needs to make more than a 1/4 turn in each direction before you can press the lock barrel in.
