Replacement Radiator Source
So the radiator in my 94 XJ6 decided to spring a leak. Initially I thought it was just at the drain and replace the drain and o ring only to find out there is a small split about 2/3 of the way up the side of the tank, so its new radiator time.
I work at a shop and have a WorldPac account and even with that, I was shocked at the pricing.
List was $1100 and my cost was $670 and to top it off they are unavailable until mid March. So I did some searching and found some on Ebay
This is a Radtech for $560
WD Express 115 26013 702 Radiator | eBay
And found this from a place called Auto Parts Warehouse for $476 (CSF Radiator)
http://www.autopartswarehouse.com/se...,part:Radiator)
Anyone have any experience with either of these companies? I didnt even consider the junkyards as at least here plastic leads a pretty rough life with the heat and dry air, so unless I found one that had been replace It would be alot of wasted time and effort.
For the time being the car is parked which being winter is no big deal because as soon at it snows its parked anyway and its been doing that on and off.
Thoughts?

Well out of curiosity, and we know what they say about curiosity and cats... Anyway I happened to call the dealer and ask him if they had a rad in stock and for price and availability.
He responds with a "Damn, they list out at $1125.00, but would have to order it". My cost would have been $850 but still in the same boat that they didn't have one.
About 10 min later he calls me back and says he might have a good used one they pulled from a car that's been in the shed. So I agree to come by the next day and lunch and sure enough he had one that looks like a 94 and as an added bonus he tells just take and if it works call it $100.
Well I only had a little time today but after some looking it sure looks right so as long as its solid I should be in business but I will know Monday night.
Bonus to them if all goes well.
