Rusty bumper chrome
The chrome top of my front bumper has nasty cracks around the headlight washer nozzles, due the corrosion building up underneath the chrome
I'm guessing it's because the previous owner drove around without the nozzle covers.
Weirdly, as I'm browsing the forums, this kind of rust on bumpers (contrary to surface rust) doesn't seem to be a common issue. Or is it?
Replacement bumpers are now around the 2000 euros mark and are getting rarer day by day.
Anyone knows if this kind of damage is repairable/can be rechromed/replaced seperately?
As the rest of the bumper still looks pretty much brand new, replacing the entire bumper unit would be a real shame.
Body-wise, the car is in pretty good shape, so the cracked bumper is really letting it down.
