Sport Mode

I hope I'm not asking a stupid question buuuuut...

I've never had an owner's manual, my car didn't come with one. I was wondering what exactly what the transmission's "Sport" mode does. The other ones are pretty self explanatory.

It does refer to that your car shifts up later and using more RPM like this ..In normal mode , let's say it shifts up at 2000 RPM but in sport mode 4500 RPM given the same driving conditions .You will sacrifice your fuel economy but it's for sure you get more fun lol

Yep, it's the "go fast" button. Shifts are harder, but you stay in the power band longer.

Yup the good ol' spot mode button...bout the only thing that makes these tanks feel fast..haha. I must say the sport button in my dads past XJR felt like it did a wee bit more than in the XJ40 though...
