Swapping a brake booster with a master cylinder versus ABS module
Hi Everyone,
After a bit of accidental purchase of the x300 brake booster, which came together with a master cylinder, I'm wandering if it is a good idea to swap both of them into my '88 3.6 XJ40? As the pushrod of the master cylinder from x300 is different as that from xj40 and will fit perfectly with the booster it was designed to work with.
The pump will work.
I'm thinking here more of its cooperation with the original ABS module, that my xj40 is equipped with.
Any advices here, please?
Thank you,
Simon.
