tongue assemblies to automatic seatbelts
If anyone can give som help to find this tongue assemblies
I have a vanden plas 1992 and as it now is in sweden is it not so easy to search for the tongue assemblies that ofcourse is missing. other cars from this years have the same and i
noticed that the system seems to be similar. maybe it can fit from other cars also?

Such a stupid system! Jaguar should be ashamed for having used it. I have tried to repair my controller box by reflowing, but it did not fix. I have however found that a sharp whack on the left side of the left knee bolster (in the area that the controller lives) will sometimes cause the belts to work. Of course this does not even begin to answer your actual question. Have you tried searching the term on ebay, or more generally google? Ford used a very similar system a bit earlier, mid 80s maybe. Those may be close enough to work?
Sorry. I guess I really just needed to vent about that system myself. I have a plan to replace mine with the "normal" 3 point belts since the mount point for the shoulder loop is there.
