Trunk battery cover turnbuckle female receivers, part number or dimensions?
Both of the female battery cover turnbuckle receivers in my XJ12 are missing.
Jaguar has used a number of these throughout their vehicles for years to hold various panels in place, and some are metal, some are plastic, and they can vary in size.
Does anyone know the part number or dimensions for the female receiver used in the XJ40 battery cover?
Here is the trunk linings diagram and part listings for the XJ40, but it doesn't call out the turnbuckle receiver, even in the "unillustrated parts" listing.

The XJS parts diagram does show a similar (the same?) turnbuckle receiver, and is item 5 in the diagram below:

Hi Al,
I thought part 14 in this diagram might be the turnbuckle receptical clip you're looking for but the description says it's the "battery positive terminal post cover":
I found this in the Battery/Starter/Alternator section:
https://www.jaguarclassicparts.com/u...ry-and-fixings
Part number was DBC12286 which was superseded to XR811245.
You'd have to think that dealerships had to replace those clips from time to time so there must be a part number!
Cheers,
Don

Not sure, but will go look and let you know. Jaguar used several different sizes and materials (plastic and steel) versions of these receivers throughout the car and across models.
