I need to to know my car model. So, I think I have an XJ6 1990 Sovereign but since I haven't found the correct parts lately, another user from here told me to ask in the XJ40 or in the series III. I will add some pictures, and the VIN number which I don't know if it helps. What I think is that maybe since its the sovereign class the specs are different from other XJ series jags, so any help would be appreciated.

Hi lenavarrete,
Welcome to the Jaguar Forums! It's great to have you with us.
As Bob has already confirmed, the Jaguar factory project code for your car is XJ40.
Mechanically, all the U.S.-spec 6-cylinder 1990 XJ40s are similar. "Sovereign" is just the Jaguar designation for a middle level of trim and appointments. In many countries, at least three trim levels were available: Base, Sovereign and Vanden Plas ("VANden plah," the deluxe level, often abbreviated VDP, and known in the U.K. as the "Daimler").
If I recall correctly, in the U.S. the Base model was not sold. The Sovereign was the standard model, while the Vanden Plas and limited edition long-wheelbase Majestic were even more deluxe and more expensive. The WikiPedia article will give you an overview, though I'm not certain all the info is accurate:
