What is this part?

I was told to repost this here for better information. Anyone know what this blue part is? It has a hose close to it, but not connected, an electrical connector, and two vac hose on the other side. 91 XJ6 4.0 I6.

EGR solenoid/actuator. FF37 if it fails or is disconnected electrically.

A plastic cap (vent filter) fits over the vent pipe.
It it is a black plastic cap that fell off.

It needs to VENT TO ATMOSPHERE so do not block it off.
