JagtechOhio,
I just checked on the Jaguar Classic Parts website. Those elbows can either be made of plastic or aluminum. I believe on my 88, it's aluminum. I'm going to have to tap on it with something metal to make sure what it's composed of. At some point, I have to drill a hole in the one closest to the windshield (#6?) to accommodate my future brake booster setup. If it's plastic, then drilling should be a breeze.

Yes, I looked too and the original style is aluminum. There was a split by engine number, so I'm guessing but maybe it was when they upped the compression ratio in mid '88 that they changed. For sure '90 and later are all plastic, the one I sent to kramexl yesterday was from a '90 engine.
