Are the window switches illuminated on a 91 XJ6?

Thanks, saves me a lot of trouble trying to fix something that isn't broken. I take it that the seat adjustment switches aren't illuminated either.

You are correct, they do not illuminate. If you had the VDP, the only light that you would see is the orange light indicating you have turned your seat heater on.

 

Had the same questions when I bought my '92. I think 93+ have lighted seat switches, and maybe window switches too.

The seat switches are pretty easy to use at night, if you can remember the position of each function, but the window switches can sometimes leave me groping the door panel for a second or two before I find them.

On the VDP the drivers switch has a bump in it, raising it above the rest so you can feel it when reaching down.
