Default Windows stuck closed

SO I couldn't find this issue posted in the xj40 threads anywhere.. Pretty standard issue, back two windows won't go down, though when I hit the switch they do make a 'click' sound but don't move or anything.
How do I go about this? Summer is approaching and I am hella not suffering without windows.

Did you try GLOBAL OPEN with the key.
Could be the disconnect on the driver's switchpack to disable the rear windows is set??

must also note that it was one at a time that stopped working. Just wouldn't go down one day

Global Open/Global Close is operated by inserting the key into the driver's door outside lock and turning/holding the key in the lock or unlock position.

Holding in the LOCK position should close all windows and (if equipped) sliding roof.
Holding in the UNLOCK position should OPEN all windows.

It comes in handy when the ambient (and inside car temp) is really hot and you want to vent the interior before entering.

It also is convenient when it starts to rain and you just want to close the car up in a hurry.

If they stopped working one at a time I would look at the switches first. Maybe unplug the individual switches and use a jumper to Hotwire the motors just for testing.. I had to replace a couple on mine too.
