Xj 40 6.0 V12
Would like to have some advise.
Went to look for a Xj40 (1993) V12 6.0.
Car looked fine except for a oil leak in the front, most likely the stearing.
Is this a common problem for this type and is it a expensive fix?
Also there was moist in the boot originating on the leftside tankfiller. Could it be a clogged up waterdrain under the filler cap?
Thanks,

Hi
Others more knowledgeable than me will be able to advise on the power steering leak. Being an xj12 owner for just a couple of months I'm still on the steep part of the learning curve.
As to the boot leak that sounds about right. An xj40 I recently looked at just before I bought my xj12 had the same problem. It had been parked in the rain and the rubber surround under the filler cap was full of water.
Cheers
Steve
