Default XJ40 power antenna stopped working

Hi!

Could someone help me with my 1990 xj40 power antenna? It worked normally and then I just took off the radio when checking the speaker wires. When I put the radio back the power antenna did not pull up anymore.
Is there a fuse for antenna?

The radio is some old Philips cassette player and it has a sticker which says that blue wire is for power antenna. The blue wire is attached to light green / black wire which should be correct as the original wiring diagram says.

Should the light green / black wire get 12v when turning on the radio?

Hi 1990XJ40,

The antenna Up/Down function is handled by the Central Microprocessor (CPU) in response to signals received from the radio head unit on a Light Green wire with Black tracer stripe. The CPU energizes either the Antenna Up Relay or Antenna Down Relay to power the antenna motor with the correct polarity to raise or lower the mast. You can download the wiring schematics at the link below. See pdf page 62.

The numbers inside a square are for battery power. Follow those numbers back to the Battery Power Distribution page, Figure 1, and find the same numbers inside squares. Follow the lines from the appropriate numbers to the fuse for those circuits.

If you have the Driver's Handbook, it will also have fuse charts.

Cheers,

Don
