1970 Jaguar XJ6 Clean Cowl and other drains
I have just started a restoration on a 1970 Jaguar XJ6. Water is leaking through the cowl and I have located what I believe to be the cowl drainage tubes. (The two j shaped tubes coming out of the cowl in the engine compartment). I have consulted the factory service manual and searched the forums, however, I cannot find a procedure to clean the drains. Water is leaking from bottom of the ac unit in the cabin floorboard on both the passenger and driver's side. Do I remove the blower fans to clean and replace the tubes or does it require removing the heater core and ac unit inside the car? It also seems that water is not draining on the inside fender drain between the hood and the fender.... It is collecting next to the doors and spilling over. Any recommendations on drain repair would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in Advance

Yes, sounds spot on, the plenum chamber underneath the chrome grill is a well-known rot point.
