The V12 does NOT have cooled inlet manifolds, your problem is a head gasket failure (normally through an overheat or corrosion) if you have water in the cylinder or inlet.
Be careful, you can easily crack the liner if you get enough water in the cylinder at the firing stroke. A garage can, by putting air pressure in the cylinder reveal a head gasket leak. The V12 is a "wet liner" engine, and the seal at the top of the liner is just a narrow circle about half an inch wide.
