Very classy !! Black engine compartment looks nice. I am just going to put an AJ6 in my XJ6C, won't look nearly so nice or go so well but will be a lot less work !

Question XJDB12C?

Rustyxjc,

Beautiful job. For some reason I'm getting a huge kick out of you lumping it with another V12.

Did you do (a lot of) tinwork in the engine compartment?

The inner fenders on your XJC are very clean, mine look more like a cheese grater. Working on my XJC, I started to wonder if the BL assembly line employee responsible for drilling engine compartment holes was paid per hole, with a per-hole bonus once over 100.

At first I thought it was just the black, but I do believe you are perforation-deficient.

You have a keen eye!
There were lots and lots of holes to fill or plug.
