LOL! Yes, we were talking about that during the color sanding and buffing. In purpose we left some 'orange peel' at the surface since these cars were not completely flat. Thanks Again!!

Hey Debbie, how are things progressing. We were so enjoying seeing you creating such a beautiful car (more than just a resto job in my mind). You haven't posted any updates for a while. Have you got her on the road and enjoying her too much, or is she still waiting patiently? Great rebuild of a great car :-)

Hi Guys!!
YES I'm going to update with some pictures. I didn't make any progress though... I've just moved in LA. I started in a new job and I had been installing my things on the new apartment. Plus, I had been 'crazy' with the Monterey car week and I just put the project in the side for a month.
Yesterday I installed the rubber seals on the windows frames.
I'll upload some pics soon!

I need to start to think about all the interior. upholstery, stereo, alarm, and 'rebuild' the climate control... I know my self and its going to be a long way.... So disappointed! the dash is plastic? what a cra...pp.. ! ok its totally crack and... I can't... I'm going to repair it and put at least vinyl or leather on the top.

Originally, there were 3 keys; Ignition key fits driver door, gas cap key fits passenger door, trunk key fits glove box - at least that's how my car is.
Do I understand correctly that you're making both door locks the same? That would be handy!

Wow, a garage wall with a mural!!! Puppy OK at new digs???
Very detailed restoration. I've a 'spare" set of old lamps in poor condition, but your "before" pics make mine look pristine, which they are not.
Nice work, as we are now expecting.
Plastic dash???? Why not wood like all other Jag's of the series'?
