Default 1976 xj6l Info

Hi!
We have inherited a1976 xj6l jag. It was converted to a Chevy 350 engine with a t-400 tyranny. Unfortunately, the family member who did this didn't take into account the year and smog laws in Ca. They pulled the Chevy engine to recoup their cost and left it. It has been in our garage for a year now and we have no idea what to do with it. Anyone have any ideas?

I'd post it on for sale in the classifieds of this forum on ebay or perhaps craigslist. For best results take lots of clear pictures. Smog complaint CA retrofits are possible and perhaps you can entice a buyer from out-of-state. Ebay will enable your sale to be viewable nationwide. A rust free California car will be somewhat more desirable. If it's rusty with a ripped up interior and missing parts then its a parts car. Price it appropriately and it will find a 2nd life.

Well, after posting on Craigslist--less than 7 hours and it's sold. I'm glad it has a new home, and hopefully you will see it up and running around soon with the new owners.
