An XK engine? if so, I don't think they have EGR's ?
The things usually attach to the exhaust manifold and inject gas into the intake. As the exhaust and intake are on opposite sides, It would take some plumbing to manage that cross over. Picture"
Others here know this power plant far better than I and can advise.
Is your car a USA car? I have a dim recollection that the cars for other markets just might have the EGR!!!
You might check with BAR. The one in my 79 IHC Scout II's 304 CI engine went bum. I sought a variance as the local parts places could not find a listing. YUK, Bar gave me a reference for a rebuilt one.
It was slightly different, but could be fitted. Awful looking, though, but it worked and I passed.
