72 S1 Found, Let the Adventure Begin

Small victories...small victories. This evening I got the drivers seat to slide back and forth. Discovered upon lifting the seat bottom that it is a powered seat that the PO never hooked up. I don't recall the S1 having powered seats (correct if wrong) so must be out of later car. The head rests are not the horizontal tubular ones, but are narrower and more vertical.
Second success was getting the drives door to lock using the key. Got to love PB Blaster
Hope everyone is having a good week. Be safe!

More progress this week. Brought the 1971 parts car back from Ohio. This allowed me to replace the front turn signal lens with better ones. I also repaired the center console lid. Tonight after cycling the hi/low beam button on the floor, the headlights decided to work!!! I had to cycle it sever dozen times, so now all lighting is working and all gauges except fuel. Tomorrow I hope to replace the rubber parts of the brake lines from hard pipe to calipers. Hopefully this will fix my weak brakes.
