Still a Sows Ear...
Skepcat67,
Not much here to admire yet. Was in sad shape when purchased few years ago. PO admitted 'engine was stuck', I thought it was recent event. Eventually discovered car has been inoperative thru at least two PO's, hasn't run in at least 20 years.
So car has been partially disassembled for last 2 years. Got block freed up and other tasks completed, have high hopes for self-propulsion this summer.
Long way of saying I don't have any good pics of it assembled. Pics of complete car I had on old flip phone with no easy way of extraction.
Hundreds of great close-up pics of pieces/parts to aid in reassembly, not sure anyone wants to see dozens of starter, alternator, crankshaft, distributor, oil line, wiring, pump, suspension, vacuum lines...pics.
Be assured when it's complete I'll be wasting LOTS of Forum space on my incredible special project, which NO ONE else here has EVER done.

Ah, I completely understand. At least you have what is probably the most special XJ in history to put all of that time and money into. It's definitely worth it. My wife and I have owned almost 30 Jaguars since the late 1990s...MK2s, MK 10s, a S1 XJ6 that had 13k original miles on it, and a whole bunch of S3s, XK8 convertibles, and X308s. We never regretted any of the time or money we had to put into them.
We will all wait for the day to see this one's progress. We are in Dayton, Ohio, I see you are up north. I'm hoping some day we can park next to each other at a show!
Cheers
Nick
