need both switches, directional and wiper switches, 1978 xjs .
question are they the same in XJ sedan, and what years should fit, and do the wire harness come with it.
i love my Jags, but all my problems relate to rust or electrical corrosions, the mechanicals seem to last forever, but all else is annoying.
and like esspresso says , grounds and more grounds, that causes terminals and contacts to over load and overheat. trying to find a ground.

The XJS was such a low production car compared to the XJ saloon, that is it very unlikely they are different, altough the stalk itself may be different. After all, there is so much commonality of parts all over the two cars.
Reason I mention the stalk is because on earlier Jaguar switches from Lucas, (like my Mark 2), the stalk was a push fit into the switch assembly. Try to have a look at a saloon if you can.
