83 xj6 I have a short
The first question is the identification of the four relays mounted to the fire wall. I know what the one on the far right, but the other three have me baffled. I also know the first on is not a relay and appears to be a diode inverter, but I am not sure. I have attached a pic.
The car drains its battery overnight. Can anyone give me a hint at the most likely set of problems?
How do you embed a picture that you have uploaded?

RE: 83 xj6 I have a short
battery drain could be:
1) trunk light stays on - the switch is known to go bad. located in one of the trunk lid brackets. Best way to check is with two people: one goes in the trunk, the other shuts the lid with person inside trunk. If light goes off, it's not the switch, but the outside person needs to open the trunk lid to let you out! Better do this with someone you trust!
2) a door light or door light switch. A lot easier to check visually, especially at night.
to embed picture in post: looks like you already found out!. Upload the picture then click on "embed picture in post".
Firewall Relays: go to the following link to identify the Relays.
