i hooked up my starter relay up as the diagram showed but still does not turn over. the relay doesnt even click, i think it might be a problem with ignition but when i put the key in the door buzzes and the radio and windows work and in start position everything dims like it should but it doesnt turn over. the white and yellow wire from the back of the ignition sends the power to the starter relay could that wire be bad??

"everything dims" suggests the the starter is drawing amps....which then suggests that everything upstream is OK.
Remove the white/red wire from the realy and jump it to 12 volts.
Does the starter spin?
If no, you have a problem with the starter or the wiring to the starter.
If yes, the starter does spin, then you have a problem upsteam
Loose/dirty battery cables and/or loose dirty main ground are common culprits and worth checking on GPs. The main ground is under the car, right, side, right about where the engine and transmission join together

Or, the solenoid is hung up. Give it a whack. I got my Jeep starter to respond away from home and get me home then I replaced it. The architecture is similar. And electric motor to turn the engine. A solenoid to act in two ways. One mechanicsly to engage the drive pinion. Two to make the electricl battery to motor connection and turn it to crank the engine. All must work.
