9300 mile 1980 XJ6???
Not sure if this is legit or not and I have no connection to this car, but it seems like a possible nice car to investigate.
1980 Jaguar XJ6 4.2L 9300 ORIGINAL MILES
Just had to share as the mileage (and potentially price) was crazy low!!

I'd be all over it! wouldn't you hate to have missed out if it's genuine?
If it is for real it most likely has some documented provenance. Books, dated service history, original purchase receipt, one owner (?), etc. Inspections under the bonnet and under the body will give the best clues, as will interior condition & brake pedal wear etc.

Yeah, many ways to see if it is 9300 or 93000.
In the Jersey countryside, it might have seen some snow, but not salted roads.
I suspect a typo. Did that on my state tax return. Much struggle to fix. But, wonders on wonders, I found a cooperative lady at the tax office and we worked out a fix via e- mail....

Based on the lack of response from the seller, they're either being inundated with inquiries, sold quickly, or it's semi-bogus.
Come to think of it, I recently tried to purchase a 35K mileage MB 300E on craigslist. Turned out to be a total rat and technically had to be sold true mileage unknown.
Still, you never know! I once found a pristine Alfa Romeo with really low miles and bought it for a song. The guy that had it didn't even know what the heck it was.
