AC pump replacement

The AC pump replacement continues apace. I'm moving the temperature/pressure sensor from the Harrison to the new pump, and it seems there's a part incompatibility. Can the old seat be moved to the new pump, or does the sensor need to be a different part?

Hmmmm.
I suspect you're running into the 'superheat switch' versus 'HSLP switch' dilemma.
The two are not interchangeable
I'm betting you are trying to put a superheat switch into the hole that was intended for an HSLP switch. The attached illustration might be useful
The 'seat' is the rear plate of the compressor. I wouldn't want to disassemble the compressor as it would surely void the warranty
Cheers

Disregard those numbers!
Those numbers are for the compressors, not the switches
Sorry
Cheers
