My Cam bearings showed up, got them installed, flipped the valve shim and im back in specs!!! .014!!! gotta love it!!! now that engine is running again i can stake the rivets on flexplate and hope machine gun sound goes away!!!
Then its on to the tower seal on the rack, its taken to leaking!! left a river of ps fluid that reaches the back doors!!!!

At least you're in a warm place for working underneath a car. You fellow citizens in the northern states seem to have imported Russian weather !
Incidentally flipping over a tappet shim is a way of getting back to the right thickness, as the valve head wears a little crater in the shim over time.

I have been here a while though so my blood has thinned, now im cold when it drops to 50!!
