Another XJ12 that refuses to start
]
Hey, Alexander here
So this month I bought an xj12 and the guy I bought it from said that he couldn’t start it, anyway the car came with 3 AB14 amplifiers, 2 of them under the hood connected to a DAC 6093 coil, had to remove the red colored original Lucas one because it was taken apart and the two left have only 2 cables instead of 4 like the original, so my question is what should I do with the other 2cables that usually got into the Amplifier?

What a guastly mess. If I was the car I would refuse to start!
The wire with the blue spiral twist is the tacho signal, this not being connected will not affect starting.
The white wire ringed in red coming out of the loom is, I think, the signal wire to the ECU to tell it to pulse the injectors. You have an AB14 amp, but not zll AB14s are the correct ones for the V12 Lucas ignition.
You need an AB14 with four wires coming from it:
Solid white to coil+
Striped black white to coil negative
Spiralled blue white to tacho
Finally a solid white that goes to the ECU loom connector you have ringed (I think that the loom wire in the pic is the one that goes to the ECU, but cannot be 100% sure without lookig to see if there is another one lying around there).
The attached pic shows, left to right, the wires coming out of the V12 AB14; The two on the left go to the coil, then there is the tacho wire, then the RH most one goes to the ECU.
The solid white going to the coil in your pic should show 12v igntion on.
In addition, you should have a flat plug coming up from the dizzy bottom that goes into the rearward side of the correct AB14. This provides the signal that tells the amp to fire the coil.

Yeah… it was worse.
Okay so the only think I can do is get a new one or repair the ab14 with 4 wires if it can still be repaired because the striped black white cable between A and B(from your picture) was actually cut in half, do you think I should still try to repair it?

Try these guys. Ask for Jack Weston is very helpful, this is what you need:

You may find a USA supplier, but the part number is what is important.
