strange. I have shipped parts to UK, Belgium, and Australia and I have not lost one package. I always ship through the US Post Office. I never ship though Fedex, they are irresponsible, arrogant, and they think they are the last Coca Cola in the desert. UPS is good and DHL is good too.

as far as I know, yes he comes around this forum. But I have not heard from him recently.

How about salvage yards in South Africa? Lots of Jaguars there. I know a fellow in SA with a '65 Jaguar S type who posts all the time in the MK-1, MK-2, S type forum here. He's a meticulous purist with obsessive compulsive disease when it comes to original Jaguar parts. I don't know if he will want to help but you might try asking him. Worst he can say is no. Tell him his arch enemy Jose sent you. I will send you his name by private message to protect his privacy. .

hmmm, they look so but they are very old installed tires since somewhere in early year 2000s and now with crack marks in them, all the tires need replacement after the project is done.

I was trying to be light-hearted mikaga, comparing the tires (which look ok to me, but I'll admit I may not be able to see their total condition) to the rust condition (which looks like you might be better off cutting the top off and making a convertible).

If you are happy when everything is done, that's all that matters.

Good on ya, Mike. She'll be solid when you're finished. I like (and pursue) bring-back-from-the-dead projects like this. Looks like you hand-fabricated some of those repair pieces - looks good.

yes, all the welded plates fixed on the body are hand fabricated as you have said.

I thought so - and I have to add it looks like you did a pretty good job of it. A little bit of filler and paint and no one will be the wiser.
