A/C Condenser for Series II
I think I've decided to go for the venerable A6 compressor rebuilt. Too many stories about the unreliability of the others and that the A6 is "built like a tank" even though not the coolest out there.
But... I'm still in a quandary over what condenser to get. Can't seem to find a straight answer out on the web. Would love to school off a fellow XJ6 owner as to what my best option is for a condenser.
Any ideas?
Thanks, Bill

As I mentioned in your other thread, I have a Sanden MFC-2068A-BAE. The links below could help to make enquiries. Maybe someone else here will be able to direct you to where to find one.

There is an all new Alu A6 compressor that is a drop in replacement.

The OE Series 2 condsensor is huge. I'd run that with some flare seals and a pusher fan. Jag used a smaller condenser on the series 3 in order to make room for an oil cooler and it's too small for R134a.

A/C condensor Series II
I came across this picture in my XJ6 files. It clearly shows a "universal/generic" condenser as I can see all the holes in the top, side and bottom. I'm sure I got it off this forum as this is the only one I belong to. Anybody recognize it.? I'm getting encouraged that I can use a generic one!
