Default Cigar(ette) lighter

Okay, I spent some time cleaning up some of the electrical stuff that had been band-aid-ed over several times. I finally got a new stereo, w/ Bluetooth, installed and working. But somehow, the power to both lighters (front dash and rear console) got disconnected. As far as I can tell, everything else works - all the other dash accessories. And all fuses are good.

The question, obviously, is how to get them working, without having to take too much apart.

Any ideas?

TIA

the rear lighter is powered from a harness that runs on the right side of the center console and connects to a fused wire. you might be able to pull the fuse socket inserting hand under right bottom edge of center console. If not, shifter, ashtrays, and switches panel must come off. Sometimes the fuse is behind the left knee panel, passenger side in LHD cars.

To clarify, you found and checked the specific cigarette lighter fuse? It is hidden, as Jose mentions.

I've also found the cig lighter fuse just forward of the RH ashtray on some cars

They did like their hidden inline fuses, didn't they!
Many of them seem like an afterthought.
