Cylinder head frost/core/welsh plugs
Hi guys, the middle core plug that is in the spark plug valley is weeping coolant on my '77 series 2, the other two are fine. I haven't replaced core plugs before, what's the process? any advice would be welcome! Oh and do they have to be Jag parts or just bought from the local parts shop? They look to be about one inch in diameter.
thanks
Scotty.
thanks

Scotty,
Easy one in there.
Drill a hole it the centre, use a slide hammer, it you got one, or borrow one, and simply pull it out.
Leave the spark plugs in situ, as swarf down a plug hole will screw your day.
My memory is 7/8", but its been a while, and YES they are generic from any parts store handy.
